Who is Salcombe Trading Company?
Salcombe Trading Company is a family-run business founded in 2000 in the coastal town of Salcombe, Devon. We have a passion for timeless design, quality craftsmanship and distinctive pieces that help create homes with character.
Today, Managing Director Michelle works alongside her husband Barry and daughter Emily, with family values at the heart of everything we do.

How do you choose the products you sell?
Every piece is carefully considered before it joins our collection. We try, test and love our products, making sure they meet our standards for quality, design and practicality.
We're continually searching for new, unusual and inspiring pieces, so our collection is always evolving.
Are your products sustainably sourced?
Sustainability is important to us. We source products as close to home as possible and, where that's not achievable, we focus on products that are made to last.
We believe in timeless design rather than today's throwaway culture, choosing pieces that can be enjoyed for years to come.
Orders & Delivery
Do I need to create an account to place an order?
No. You can check out as a guest, so there's no need to create an account to place an order with us.
How much does delivery cost?
Our delivery charges apply to UK mainland deliveries and are calculated per delivery address. These are our standard guide prices, although some exceptions may apply.
- 0–5kg: £5
- 5–10kg: £8
- Over 10kg: £15
- Over 20kg: £30
- Over 40kg: £50
- Over 50kg: £70
Free delivery is available to all BA postcodes.
How long will my order take?
Whenever possible, orders are dispatched within 5 working days by either 1st Class Royal Mail or an overnight courier with DPD.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, during normal working hours, and will usually arrive between 8am and 6pm.
Please note that some products sourced from Scandinavia can take up to 4 weeks to arrive. If you need an item sooner, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Do you offer Saturday delivery?
Saturday delivery cannot be guaranteed and may incur an additional surcharge. Please contact us for further details.
Do you deliver to all areas of the UK?
We currently deliver to UK mainland addresses, but are unable to deliver to:
- Isle of Man (IM)
- Outer Hebrides (HS)
- Shetland Islands (ZE)
- Channel Islands
If an order is placed for one of these areas, we will refund the full value of the transaction.
Do you offer Click & Collect?
Yes. Click & Collect is available from our warehouse, and we'll arrange a collection time with you to suit
