Salcombe Trading Company is a family-run business with a passion for timeless design, quality craftsmanship and creating homes that tell a story. Founded in 2000 in the coastal town of Salcombe, Devon, the business quickly built a reputation for distinctive homeware, furniture and lifestyle collections. In 2008 we opened our Bath store, and today you’ll find us in the heart of the city on Margaret’s Buildings, just steps away from the Royal Crescent.

At the helm is Managing Director Michelle, working alongside her husband Barry and daughter Emily. Family values are at the heart of everything we do. From the way we source and design our products to the personal service our customers enjoy.

Our style blends Scandinavian simplicity with classic British design, creating collections that are both modern and enduring. Every piece we offer has been carefully handpicked – tried, tested and loved – ensuring it is as practical as it is beautiful. We believe in thoughtful design, quality that lasts, and products that can be enjoyed by generations.

Beyond our shop, we also bring our design ethos into people’s homes through property renovations and interior styling projects. Most recently, we completed the full conversion of the Fox Pub in Farleigh Wick into three stunning homes, blending heritage character with contemporary interiors.

We care deeply about sustainability and source products as close to home as possible. Where that’s not achievable, we ensure they are made to last, offering timeless design that moves away from today’s throwaway culture.
