Cottles Barn – the final project revealed from The Old Fox & Hounds
Cottles Barn is the third and final property in the trio of renovations that once made up The Old Fox & Hounds in Farleigh Wick – a 16th-century pub complete with a derelict barn. When we first discovered it, the barn was little more than a shell, with half a roof and plenty of cobwebs. We completely transformed the original structure and added a modern extension to create a beautiful home featuring three bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a dedicated laundry area.
Filled with some of our favourite brands, including Secto Design lighting and the Fritz Hansen Skagerak Cutter range, Cottles Barn showcases timeless craftsmanship and clean Scandinavian design. You’ll also spot a few Salcombe Trading classics, such as our cosy sheepskins, Hanko dining chairs, Scandi chairs, and the elegant Ashford writing desk.
The result is a perfect balance of contemporary style and rustic charm, where natural materials and thoughtful design come together to celebrate both the building’s heritage and its new life as a modern family home.
